Description
This indicator shows the rate of older people who had ACC claims accepted for a non-fracture injury caused by a fall (some of which may result in a hospital admission). ACC claims are made across a range of health care settings, so this indicator is our broadest available measure of the number of falls that did not result in a fracture among older people.
